The West Fresno/Madera FFA  Section  raised  over $7200.00 for Children’s  Hospital Central California during their annual Bowl-4-Kids Night  at Valley Bowl in Madera. This  marked  the 10th year of raising funds for  Children’s Hospital  while members enjoyed a night of bowling,  dancing and food. Schools  attending  this years event included Chowchilla, Madera, Central, Pershing, Firebaugh, Laton, Riverdale, Kerman, Mendota, Tranquility, Coalinga, Caruthers, and Washington Union.  Students in charge of coordinating this event were the  West Fresno/Madera  Sectional Officer Team including:   President Megan Matteucci (Madera), 2st Vice resident Lisa Heffington (Chowchilla),  2nd  Vice  President Cory  Padgett  (Madera), Secretary Amanda LeCorre (Central), Treasurer Robert Calvert (Central), Reporter Sharrah Domingeuz (Cooalinga),  Sentinel Briana   Leonardo  (Laton),  and  Historian  Erika  Johansen (Central).

From January 14-January 31st the Madera Chevron Stations located at the corner of Yosemite and Gateway and on Howard Road donated 3 cents from each gallon of gas sold to The Alegria Guild of Children’s Hospital Central California!

Pump A Penny

Café Coffee has partnered with Alegria Guild of Children’s Hospital Central California to donate 10 % of proceeds for the day to help the children of the Central Valley!  The event was a wonderful success and one we hope to repeat again in the future!
